Worked really well!
I needed to connect my digital piano which has usb out to my old sound module (which is over thirty year old) which has midi in. I was unsure as to this working due to changes & compatibility in usb/ midi etc. However this product worked perfectly well first time, I simply powered it using my mobile phone plug & cable, connected my usb in & midi out & was able to play without any latency either. The host box itself is quite small which is great for taking out & about. Really pleased with this product, so simple to use as well. Thoroughly recommended.

Feel Misled
I bought this thinking it was a simple solution to getting one midi input to my Mac for a live recording session where we wanted to capture midi data as well as the audio as my new audio interface didn't have midi.
Unfortunately it doesn't do that although the sales patter is a little misleading I feel. After a little digging I realised that this thing is for one job only..... Transferring midi from one midi instrument to another! Well behringer, you've really given the world something it already had in one form or another! Eg. midi can go to midi so not needed there and usb (with the right cable) can go to midi....... Bit of a paper weight this one, it's not even that heavy so probably useless at that too.

excellent OTG solution
The Behringer Go MIDI Host is an excellent OTG solution for USB to MIDI DIN in/out conversion,and power for a MIDI controller keyboard/pad etc, all in one compact box,
It's purpose is freedom to connect direct or daisy chain to other MIDI devices, whilst remaining independent of the usual pc/tablet/app DAW hookups for power
The Host uses 2 x USB type C input sockets for the power in and controller cable, and it uses 2 x standard 5 pin DIN sockets for MIDI in/out connectivity

You get what you pay for
While it works, it feels very flimsy and brittle. As if it's going to shatter into a million pieces at the slightest touch. I am considering returning this but maybe I could give it to someone as a gift...
