beyerdynamic EDT 990 V Ear Pads II

It's a bit fiddly to get them on, but they make such a difference. The new pads sit nicer and more comfortable.

I had worn through the stock ear pads on my DT-990 Pros within a year and I was very happy to see that beyerdynamic offers readily available replacements.

These earpads may have been a bit of a pain to install, mainly due to the fact that I am very inexperienced with replacing the ear pads on my headphones, but after a bit of fiddling I managed to get them on.
I find these ear pads to be very comfortable to use whenever I'm working hard on a mix, or dancing excitedly around my room when I make a song I'm proud of.

It is inevitable that the earpads are the first to suffer wear, tear, and sweat. If you are careful, you can detach the pads that came with your headphones and wash them with dish soap. But eventually, glue joints will fail and fabric will tear. Thankfully, replacement earpads are easily bought.
I am always impressed by Beyerdynamic's commitment to supplying spare parts, no matter how inexpensive the product is.
Truly professional products of which you can be confident. In this era of disposability, this is something to be valued and encouraged.
