Not a good fit
The fit is poor. There is a stopper in the inside of the adapter which is situated too near the top and therefore doesn’t allow the cornet mouthpiece to enter the adapter far enough. The actual adapter fit to the trumpet is also poor and doesn’t bite the metal like you’d expect a mouthpiece to.
