It's THE power supply

Works perfectly, immediately the noise went away as soon as I swapped to this. The RCA to DC 2.1mm is kinda weird, but it's much easier to solder an RCA than a DC plug. 660mA @ 9V is a lot of headroom, most pedals don't take more than 300, except the big boys like an HX Stomp.

The USB is also nice to have for charging a backup battery for a Shure GLXD16+, or anything up to 15W.

The expandability is also nice to have, I like the IEC connector, I wish other brands would also use it instead of having a separate power brick. It's also flat enough that even at the front bottom side of my Rockboard Tres 3.1 it's not overhanging at all.

The Slimmest, Quietest Power Supply on Earth?

I finally picked up the CIOKS DC7 v2, and I went with the limited VHS Tape Edition. First off, the retro 80s graphics look incredible on a board, but this thing is way more than just a pretty face. Performance-wise, it completely killed the noise floor on my rig. It features 7 fully isolated outputs that put out a massive 660mA at 9V each, the upgraded 15W USB-C port is welcome addition

A really good power supply
Liam Q. 08.08.2026
I bought this to replace a cheaper power supply with a noise issue on the DC power when using a mix of digital and analog pedals. This power supply has removed all the high pitched noise and hiss I was getting from the dc power. As I use a tablet on in ear monitor gigs I also like the USB C output to power it from my board. The metal case seems sturdy and solid and feels like a quality product.. I also like that the pedal uses an IEC kettle lead cable and with the Grip adapter I also purchased I neatly mounted it to the underside of my Pedaltrain pedalboard. Plus the retro look of the VHS cassette is kind of cool.
Overall I highly recommend this power supply.

This will be your last power supply

As I plan to change my pedalboard setup and have not decided which one to get, this was the easiest choice for me. I can hide it under any pedalboard easily, even under the nano ones. With the cables coming with the main unit, I can feed 10-11 pedals without any issues and without any noises by plugging it to my analog pedals with daisy chain method. So, don't look at anywhere else. This is the one.
