Unusual design works well
This item comes in a beautiful presentation box, and Conrad Götz has very nicely made metal parts which screw together smooth. As to the shoulder rest it is nicely made and the shape is original. I have found it to be one of the most comfortable I have tried, but this is a personal choice.

This is a comfortable large chinrest. It feels smooth and sits well above the viola tailpiece. It might be improved by having a little deeper upstand. Although this was bought as a violin chinrest I have changed it to fit my viola because I liked it.
