Great strings. I didn't think that NYXL's could be improved, but these are the same thing, with a protective coating, for even longer life. I was getting over double the operating life of the standard XL's when I switched to NYXL's (although I clean my strings after every gig/rehearsal). With the coating these XS's have, I don't need to be quite as meticulous with my string cleaning regime, and they feel & sound great (as you would expect from D'addario). They are expensive, but they do last much longer, so you get your moneys worth.

Good strings. Similar to Elixir’s Optiweb (green) series. A bit on pricey side.

I have put these on mine Ibanez with FR bridge. They sound full and are nice to touch. Will buy again!

Not quite durable as Elixir Optiwebs, but great feel and great sound.

I would recommend these especially for beginners. Not only You get great sound, but also feels great and are easy on Your fingers. Compared to Fender 09 these feels like silk.

Used Elixirs For the last 15-20 years. Tried the XS three years ago and now used them on all my guitars. They sound better ( for me ) and don't break easy! I I'm a hard hitter and play heavy plectrums ( Bluechip TD 45).
I use 10´s on electric and 12`s on acoustic.
I think they are I little bit stiffer than the Elixir. I'm ok with that.
