Industry standard metal tone
If you want a classic passive bridge humbucker for heavy genres, this is a top contender. It delivers a controlled high gain sound, w/o any massive disturbing "character", so i would consider it versatile within the category. Nothing is overwhelming in it's sound that needs extra attention except the high gain nature ofcourse.

The best pickup I've ever dealt with, I'm sure I'll order a 7-string version in the future, I have one in my Maple-Lid Mahogany custom made guitar, and now it's also in my spira S-400 guitar. I play in the genre of Metalcore/Tech Death and Drop c, Drop A is also brutal in tuning. Its voice is not thin. Slightly scopp, balanced metal pickup I just love it
