The speaker sounds half decent for what you would expect from something of that price even if the low end leaves a lot to be desired. But sound is not the biggest problem, the biggest problem is you need an app to run it and that’s where all the suffering begins. I’d recommend any other brand but EV simply because of the app that runs their speakers. It’s a disgrace. Best case scenario you connect your phone to it but then if you want to stream music you have to connect again, separately, from the Bluetooth menu, which you already used to pair with the speaker. Can you say unintuitive? Yes you can. I can’t connect it with my brand new iPad and there’s nothing I can do, I’ve tried everything. Installing, reinstalling, hard reset, nothing helps. I can only use it with my phone which looks very unprofessional. It looks like I’m scrolling in my phone when I’m supposed to be working. This system isn’t for serious musicians as it lacks parametric EQ which is a very basic tool for something like that. The EQ that is available is limited and its global. It has numerous useless presets instead of a simple interface that works. Never again Electro Voice.
