Want a €300 upgrade of your strat to custom shop ? Cool.
Incredible actual upgrade to your guitar sound, especially if you've already got the amp to go with (any decent tube amp).
The neck pickup has that dark, throaty, gritty, very beautiful overdrive.
The middle pickup is bright and can easily be used for lead or rhythm guitar.
The bridge pickup has a bright, classic Strat sound.
All combinations (positions 2 and 4) are also unique. 4 has that "twang" and 2 is like the neck but brighter.
This purchase feels like a new guitar if you've got the right setup.
The only other option I'd consider (same category & manufacturer) is the Custom Fat 50's which also sound superb, but I don't own them.

Up grade
Fantastic dynamic range from these fender custom shop 69 pickups, replaced previous Texas specials too bright for maple neck strat. Real vintage tone available not as powerful as Texas specials but overall much better for Hendrix tone. Plus bridge pickup wired with tone control.

Real Fender Sound !
I was using EMG DG-20 pick-up set from 8 years and i was thinking my strat sound is good but after changing it with this 69 pick-up i reached the pure strat tone. It's wonderful and not so treble as Texas pickups. If you play each kind of song and not only blues so that is your Strat key.

Use it on my Clapton Custom Shop...love it.
Use it on my Clapton Custom Shop...instead of orig PU for lower gain into my Marshall YJM 100
