Best hardcase I ever had
I bought this hardcase for an Ltd EC1000 that came without case or gigbag. As I have quite a bunch of instruments, I made a habit of keeping every one in a hardcase, for storage and protection. I have hardcases by Gator covered in leather, tweed or other materials. Nice cases, but never got the feeling they were totally closed (tweed gets stained, leather scratched). I have a couple of Skb cases, and those did give me that sturdy, protected feeling, although on 1 case it is a bit difficult to close it right, it's a bit wonky. This case is the mix of all the best ingredients of all my cases: very sturdy, won't wear as easily, can stand upright on its own with the guitar inside (sometimes very helpful) but with the best locking hinges of all the other cases. Fits my guitar with strap attached but without wiggle room, and the storage pouch inside can hold some picks, spare strings, a clip on tuner, some cleaning products and a cloth. Best case I ever had, including some boutique and bigger brands.

Barely fit my PRS singlecut.
I have to squeeze a guitar into this case.
The cutout for the body is made with an extension from the neck to the bridge, so the guitar does not lie exactly but at an angle, you have to adjust it so that the neck and deck are flush with the case and not at an angle.

Its not made of metal but its probably more durable.
This is a really impressive case. Nice inner lining and worth the money.

Gator Chomps the Competition to Shreds!
Great case for my Jackson X series MF1. Solid, sturdy, not heavy, plush inside...you could send your guitar into outer space wrapped in this baby and it would survive the ride! I would also like to thank the online service team at Thomann for helping me chose the right case...Johannes did not try to sell me the most expensive item, he worked with me to find the exact right thing. Bravo. I'll be back!

Fits and epiphone les paul prophecy
The skb case was too short. This case has the extra room at the headstock for the prophecy. Fits all other les paul perfectly as well. Quality is equal to the skb case.

Great Case
Bought this case to transport my Les Paul to New York.
Built like a tank. Had to checkit as over-size baggage. Flew with Delta Airlines and they took good care of the guitar. This case did its job perfectly.
I would buy it again no doubt!!
