Good product but some things should work better
Generally holder does improve the resonance of drum. But before you hang your drum...
1. You have to assembly it. There is no instruction or pictures how to do it.
2. The precision of the threads is cheap. You have to be exact to assembly the screws
3. 12” Tom with 5 lugs results with very extreme position of holder lug assemblies. If you happen to have 13” or 14” 5 lug drum - it won’t be possible to install that holder.
4. If you have die cast hoop, you will need some force to position the holder and let drumhead seat on the edge. You have to take into account, that two bolts (where holder is attached) are turning harder than others.
But once you assembly, you’re done. Simple manual with pictures could save some possible frustrations.

This is a great product. It did miracles to my 13X 7 " snare dum . The sound was quite dead when mounted on a snare stand, but it opened up and started singing naturally :)

This product is essential for a custom build i'm working on. It's a good and stable mount, although a little bit long for shallower toms.

Very handy
Used it on a Mapex Mars series tom and I'm quite happy about the result, I did hear a difference compared to using the original mount screwed to the tom. 4/5 stability; being picky here because the tom is only attached by the top of the suspension system but that's not a problem for me at all since gravity does its job to maintain the tom perfectly in place.

Awesome product
I used this with the Gibraltar SCSTL3 to mount a 14 inch floor tom on a rack. It is rock solid and opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me cuz more things are accessible now. Very easy and straightforward to set up, and was mounted within minutes literally!
No noticeable change in drum shell tone (which is a good thing I suppose)
