They look wonderful, direct replacement for PRS SE Paul's guitars and SE guitars with vintage style tuners in general (no drill needed). Stays in tune perfectly. 100% would recomend

Attention PRS SE 594 owners
This is not a drop in replacement for 594 Mccarty SE tuners. The ferrules are a little bit (1mm) wider than the stock ones. So you have to “force” your way in. If you know what you’re doing, you’re good to go. Screws align perfectly and once the tuners are in properly, they work like a charm. Gotoh makes good quality parts.
Many thanks Thomann for quick delivery.

Great locking tuners
Bought these to fit a 2014 Gibson R9 as they looked similar to the stock tuners while also being locking. Also fitted a set to my 2007 Gibson R6 as I liked them so much.
Straight swap on Gibson historics and alot of other custom shops with the smaller diameter holes. Older USA line Gibsons might also have the smaller holes, but newer USA line Gibsons usually have a larger hole.
Feels great and very precise.

2004 Les Paul Classic -
Hi all,
I waited a while for these to come in stock and was glad I finally got them. These are the 8.3mm set, most of the recent Les Pauls are 10mm so your options for the more vintage fittings are fairly limited but these are extremely good, dropped in straight away no problem fitted perfectly. Pro tip, blast a little WD40 in the lube hole before fitting and they'll be as smooth as butter.

Best quality from Japan
These are the best tuning machines in the market, I'm using them on my Edwards LP. Best build quality I've ever seen. Shame it only fits on made in Japan guitars, I think all guitar manufacturers should be using them.

Looks stellar, works great
I got these for the Harley Benton HB-35. They look amazing and work exactly as intended. I'm sure there are better locking tuners out there, but I wanted affordable ones that have the vintage look and feel. I got the Göldo MB05C bushings so they fit. These do the job PERFECTLY.

Upgrade for a Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop (2022)
The main reason for me to swap the original tuners for the Gotoh Locking tuners is that with locking tuners changing strings is easier and faster.
Please note that the tuning stabilty was not a reason for this change, the original tuners were just fine.
Experience when installing these tuners are:
1) No changes to the headstock was required
2) Screws were on the same spot as originals, so perfect fit
3) The Gotoh bushes, bore 8.8 mm, are smaller than the existing holes, so I used double sides tape to make bushes fit tightly
4) Shaft length is a little shorter than the original tuners, however this created no issues
I am simply a fan of locking tuners, so happy with the change.

Poor quality, feels cheap.
Warning to US Gibson Les Paul and SG owners, plus Epiphone LP and SG, these tuners will not fit these guitars as they do not have the correct size bushings for these guitars. Also if the push in fittings do fit your headstock they are push in only, not screw down types with a nut, hence rely on the guide screws at the back to keep the tuner in place, which is a major drawback, as these should not be relied on for stability on their own. The tuners feel cheaply made and the locking mechanisms do not feel sturdy.
You will be better off buying like for like non lockers that properly screw down with enough clearance, and where the shift posts adequately fill the headstock slots. First Gotoh product I have found that falls way above expectation and function.

Vintage look, modern functionality
Looks like the old 50's style Gibson tuners, but extremely easy to use, easy to restring, and stays in tune. Not much more to say, no cons on this product.
