Excellent for complete beginners
I live in an apartment building where naturally an acoustic violin is more or less out of the question, this is one solution to that problem. The violin feels a bit cheap and plasticky, but it performs well regardless. The built-in preamp and headphone jack can both be a bit noisy and crackly at times, but given the very low price of this product, I can hardly complain.
If you're starting out and you're in the market for an electric violin to appease your neighbors, get this, and try and move on from it as fast as possible, but you won't suffer in the process either.

Good first violin
The violin is pretty good for it's price.
The case is great.
However the strings and the bow feel a bit low quality, but easily replaced.
Overall very happy with my purchase and looking forward to continue my practice with this violin.
