An awesome bass even if the price is not considered - with flaws
It's a great bass! Good tone, quality finish and craftsmanship. The only gripe for the weak - it's HEAVY. REALLY HEAVY. In exchange the ash body has a very, very nice, full tone. Also the pickups are pretty noisy and no matter how well you shield the cavity, if you have any treble set on the tone it will have bad hum/buzz and pops when you touch the otherwise grounded parts. Setting both pickups on the same level doesn't cancel it out either.

great choice to try fretless
I’ve wanted a fretless for a long time, and I really love this piece of wood. It’s on the heavier side, but other than that, it’s a great instrument. I swapped the strings for tapewound flats and gave the neck a lemon oil finish. This has been my main bass for two years now, even though I have a couple of more 'serious' ones in my collection.
