Recommended - it "fills a gap"
I wanted to be away from the laptop while playing bass, use my pedals, learn their settings - and thirdly, doing this with a headphone. The MiniStomp Phone Home is exactly what I needed. I placed it at the end of the chain after my preamp and looper.
My current favourite bass to pick up has a rather low output (HB Shorty-P) and I use a pair of old AKG K52 headpones - I can hear myself well enough without any extreme volume setting needed on the preamp.
(I did not try yet to use this unit without a preamp and other pedals, did not try to plug the bass directly into it - here I cannot provide any experience with this pedal).
If you have a pedalboard and want to use it with headphone (instead of switching to an Amplug or other practice unit), it fills that gap.
Pros: size, weight, sound, the solid build, key function, price.
Cons: none (after using it for a month)
It's worth the friendly price. Well done HB!
