For clarity, if you have a CT 500/1 (Contemporary Violin Bass) this is the surround that fits both the neck and bridge pickups.

Fit OK for Hofner viloin CT bass
I got two of these to replace my cracked ones on my Hofner violin HCT (contemporary model), no idea why originals crack. These german PU frames fitted perfectly. So if you have problems with your original pick up frames get these ones.
