Expensive, but works wonders
For me, this set was crazy expensive. I've been pondering this purchase for months. But in the end it was totally worth it. Adjusting the nut grooves for ideal height makes guitar play and feel so much better. You may need to cut just 0.2mm extra, but it does wonders to guitar playability. For cheap guitars it's the best upgrade you can do. For medium grade guitars, the difference is still huge.
More specifically:
- Fretting at low frets takes much less effort (e.g. for Fm or Bb chords).
- Intonation at low frets is more accurate (notes don't sound sharp because you have to press hard).
- Overall string action is lower without adding fret buzz.
- As a result of lower action, the guitar plays lighter everywhere across the fretboard.
Of course, its also easy to mess it up and cut nut grooves to deep. Be extra careful, proceed slowly and check often!

Good hand files for making adjustments
Great for Gibson Les Paul saddles, I made a few small adjustments with minimal effort.

They do their job
Before that, I used cheap analogs and suffered every time, especially on thin 0.010 and 0.011 strings.
I don't have any problems with the new files.
The price could be lower, but these files will last a lifetime.

they run size smaller
I bought 9's and realised that 4 files ran size smaller and were unusable for 9 gauge strings, so i got file set sized for 10s to cut for gauge 9's strings which seemed to be the case with these files.
overall the quality is ok, but Ibanez should advertise them properly.

Sturdy 2-sided nut file set
These files have teeth on both sides. The thickness is engraved. Even hard en sharp enough for slotting ABR style bridges in brass or steel. Not overpriced. No nonsense guitar tool.

Good quality but may not be the one for you
if you cut a nut from scratch then they might work, but if you want to, lets say, enlarge a pre-cut nut, they aren't the best tool for the job as they only have cutting surface on the edge and you cannot do the rocking technique. The lack of handle make the operation less of ideal.

Amazing
These files work great! I was slightly hesitant at first due to the the brand and price. I cut a few nuts with them and they were really fine! The thicknesses where spot on and for the money I recommend them.
