A great guitar for anything you need it for
I wanted to play the usual stuff - some Meshuggah, Mick Gordon, Sleep Token. It works wonders for all of them. The guitar sounds absolutely massive in a mix, super tight response and you can change the voicing to go from a rough to a smooth tone. The clean tones are pretty fantastic as well, I actually found that they sound beat on the bridge pickup in voicing 2 even though I expected them to sound better on the neck pickup. Absolutely incredible for leads and soloing - this guitar sings like an angel and due to the 25.5" scale on the high end you can actually bend the strings too.
It's also very pretty, the photos don't do it justice but I wish all the knobs and switches were the same color
Some things I'd like to have seen are a longer scale on the lower strings, maybe 27.5" or 28" since they can get pretty floppy depending on the string gauge. I think it would've been better for the neutral/straight fret to have been something like the 6th fret instead of the 12th fret, as that would make playing on the lower frets a lot more comfortable but it's surprisingly bearable as it is. It would've also been nice for it to come with thicker strings, the stock strings are super thin and pretty much unusable for drop tuning, I recommend buying thicker strings along with the guitar and replacing them immediately. This also means if you want thicker strings that don't have a taper around ~32.5" you have to drill out the tuner so it would be nice to not have to do that especially on an eight string
