I have many boost pedals, including multiple Tubescreamer variants. Some are expensive, boutique models that cost 2-3x.
I keep coming back to this. It's so simple, focused and well-designed. It's my go-to 'standard Tubescreamer' model.

Bloody brilliant pedal
This tube screamer does it for me! It sound pretty amazing and I even decided to not buy an overdrive anymore, simply because this pedal creates an awesome sound on its own. Great job of the JHS guys!
