Simple but good
I use this machine in non-professional windbands as well as in symphony orchestra. Clear sound, simple to handle and, when needed, simple to change castanets, too.
My recommendation for manufacturers: please make pitch difference between two castanets a bit bigger, it gives more possibilities to combine sounds when demanded by conductors.

Great build quality, nice sounds
This version of castanets is really nice for percussionists and people that aren't that willing to learn how to play the proper instrument. The sounds are nice, could be a bit snappier, but overall sounding good. The action can be adjusted on either side, so you can get different sounds. Overall a nice addition.
