Excellent China - Not for Hard Hitters
This China produces a great sound that cuts through from most drum line. However, because it is so thin, it can get dented easily if you get your technique wrong when you're a hard hitter. This China makes a sound very similar to the one used in Metallica's "And Justice For All", although it only does so at medium to low volumes. Because of its size, the decay is very sharp, even though this is one of the things I love about it!
If you aren't a particularly hard hitter, but want to experiment on the cheap, I highly recommend it. A great alternative to this is the "Zultan 14" China Yin Series" which performs much better at higher volumes, for harder hitters.

Great sound but dents easily
Had this cymbal just over a week now and I love the sound and the look but it dents insanely easily. I’ve been playing paiste PST8’s for years now and I’ve wailed on those things and never left a dent, I played this cymbal for about 20 minutes the day I got it (not even hard) and it was covered in dents and deep lines from the sticks. I’m disappointed but also happy enough since it sounds good but it does look trashed now. Not sure if I got a defective cymbal or if they all do this but it is what it is
