Don't tune with anything else!
My first stroboscopic tuner for my basses - I was a little nervous at first about adapting to a new way of visualising tuning, but within 30 seconds of starting it up I was sold. It's actually quite addictive - getting the spinning dials to slow then eventually stop. And finally I can prove wrong what my traditional tuners kept telling me - always that my G string was in tune when it clearly sounded sharp to me. Now it's perfect.
I didn't need the stomp-box/mute feature and as a fretless player often playing in a dark theatre pit, being able to have always-on confirmation that the note I've just jumped to is in tune (especially when the drummer opens up) is invaluable. My only gripe is that I can't run it of a 9v battery when I'm not using my pedal board. Love the big display, metal housing, different colours per profile etc etc. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Tuner
Expensive but worth it. Large, beautiful display. Sweet tunings are not super important but a nice addition. The only thing I would change is for it to have a small on/off switch. It is part of my practice setup so I turn it off at night on the main power switch.
