The only noise gate you need
One of the best & best sounding noise gates I’ve had.
Positives:
-With the 4-cable method capability, it removes all noise.
-The release time is very natural and can be dialed easily to taste.
-Its robust and straightforward to operate
-The sound is better & more transparent than Fortin Zuul (which to my surprise, dulled the high end a bit).
Negatives (?):
-I have 2 of these noise gates (this white version as the last one i bought) and they both add a couple of db extra volume for some reason. It’s much more obvious on with my first black one…but they both have it to some extent. Doesn’t bother me since they’re usually always “on”, but worth mentioning…hence, 1 star less for this inconsistency.
-The dials are reflective metal & the arrows are somewhat hard to see (especially in low light)

Aggressive gate + note on sustain
Note: I'm not a professional musician and this is the first standalone noise gate pedal I tried, my previous experience was only with some available in stomps/modellers.
If you want a really aggressive gate that clumps down any noise and tightens your chugs, look no further, as it's also slightly cheaper than some of the other premium/boutique options available out there.
Nevertheless I have to say I found it hard to find the sweet spot to balance rhythm and lead parts, in particular sustain on single notes held, as even tuning hold/release the pedal is aggressive clamping down long held notes (and if you open hold/release too much, then you might mess with your rhythm setup), hence I ended up returning it as this is an area that matters for me. But I still think this is a great product, only not the right one for me.
I hear that many noise gates/suppressors might alter your tone, on this one frankly no complains from this perspective, I'd say it's excellent.
Finally, it looks super cool and it's definitely sturdy.
To wrap up, overall a solid pedal, with a note of warning in case you're picky like me on sustain of long held notes.
