Terrible quality

I hate this microphone pantograph! After a month of use, it started damaging my desk (it attaches very poorly to my desk, constantly slipping off). Every time I need to pull the microphone towards me or to the side, the poorly secured clamp (and I made every effort to tighten it as much as possible to the desk) starts sliding across the desk, slightly turning or moving at the attachment point. It’s incredibly annoying. Its joints are loosened to the maximum, but it’s still not flexible enough for me to use comfortably. Additionally, there’s now play in the part where the microphone attaches. Since this part isn’t adjustable, I don’t think it’s designed to have a movable axis. It turns slightly clockwise and hits a stop, and the same counterclockwise. There’s no point in this, so it must be a defect. Overall, I’m dissatisfied and confident that for this price, a better stand can be found.

Good arm, awful clamp

This microphone arm feels really sturdy, but it has two problems that had I knew of I wouldn't have bought it. After about 3 months of desk use it started creaking when adjusting, but that problem is small compared to the incapability of the clamp to stay clamped to the desk. No matter how hard it is tightened, the clamp keeps shifting every time I adjust the microphone, and most times it is turning it around. In about half a year I've been using this arm the clamp failed a good number of times, about once or twice a week and because of that by xlr cable got yanked out along with my audio interface the few times that I didn't catch it falling.
