E string has ghost notes
I put it on a Sire U5, and the E string is just wrong - fundemental note and overtones are not the same pitch, anyhow I tune it even open string sounds wrong. I would love the flexibility, and there aren't a lot of other choices if you want steel short scales, but this just doesn't work (on this bass?)
