Sennheiser HD-25 Replacement Cable

I had a few of those cables and earphone pads over the years. I've had HD-25s for 15 years now, in a matter of fact they are in a reach of my hand now. The only reliable cable is the original one. The cheap replacements may not match your good old 25s and are they still 25s with some cheap replacement !!!
Believe my words it is not perfect cable, but it is the Sennheiser HD-25 cable period.

If you sre thinking to buy this to replace original coiled cable, don't buy it for djing in my opinion, it's not better option than the telephone coiled cable, I would stick to the coiled one. The cable Is short, you forget it and when you want to get some other gear, records or a drink in the dj booth which can be further away from the DJ equipment the headphone will go flying from your head and you will look like a dork.

For everyday use with your phone is perfect.

I've had my 25s over 20 years. The cable, ear pads and headband cushions have been replaced numerous times. These are a small expense if you want your 25s to last.

The cable quality never felt anything special but is adequate I suppose.

My HD-25 (Sennheiser headset) had the broken spiral cord (in my opinion very delicate and not suitable for continuous "pull-spring" stress), I replaced it with this spare part, I connected it for a few hours and audio has returned as good as before. I will solicit this cable as I did with the spiral one, we will see the duration. For my needs this cable had to be two meters and not 1.5 meters.

High quality, a little bit too short but that's great for a new long life for my HD25 :)

I would like to negate the previous feedback left by a user below. The quality on these HD25 cables are top notch, they have lasted me over 5 years of daily use.

Only recently I had to change the cable, but what can you do, after all it's plastic and does wear out. The replacement was a breeze.

Sennheiser cables are a joke. I have had a pair of HD-25's for around 20 years, the headphones are great, the cable is garbage and lasts around 12-18 months, so I've had to replace it countless times. It has come down in price in recent years. When a cable costs 20-30 euro on a pair of headphones that cost around 100 it makes you wonder how much it costs to make the cable and the HPs. But what can you do, if you want to continue using these headphones. It shows a total lack of respect to the customer.

Standard piece of replacement cable for the legendary HD-25 series with angled jack which I prefer. Replacement itself is very easy and intuitive and will take couple of minutes at max. No matter how good you treat your headphones, after some years of use, you'll just have to get a new one, luckily for us with HD-25s, you buy a new cable at a fraction of a price of new headphones and can make the repair yourself.

This is a much overpriced replacement cable of mediocre quality and doesn't even come with an audio jack adapter. Replacing the cable on the headphones is easy, though.

No issues, easy to replace the old cable. Carefully disconnect the screws, displace the old cable and reconnect the old one. Easy :)
