Perfect size - just touching both heads. Make sure you order size specific pillow.
No ringing . Bass drum tone sounds great !

Excellent. A must have for a plate mic.
For use with a plate mic. The channel is a really good idea which allows the mic to be set forward or backward whilst holding horizontal position. You'll hear the difference. You should use the velcro or it will move during use. The foam itself will damp the drum but not kill it off leaving sonic room for further muffling if required. A must have for plate mic.

Great dampening effext
The Sonitas drum cushion is easy to fit and effective in use. It removes unwanted trebly overtones and produces a solid thumping sound.

My sound tech says that now my kick sounds better, and is easier to work with pillow inside bass drum.

Useful addition
Got this for my drummer and he's really happy with it. The rest of the band also agrees that the sound is somehow fuller and more controlled. It's really great if you want to add a boundary mic inside.
