Too expensive
For the quality, considering that my original pads started peeling completely after one year of light home use, this item is outrageoulsy expensive, even more considering that it's sold by the unit (yes I have to buy another one) and that a new set of MDR-7506 headphones cost less than 100€, the earpads represent pratically half the price of a new set. I like the headphones but this is sheer nonsense.

Good as new
After quite a few years of continuous use sweating into these cans, the ear pads basically disintegrated. This is perfectly expected for such intensive use I think.
I did consider cheaper alternatives, but found some bad reviews.
Indeed these are basically half the cost of the headphones new, but now my beloved MDR7506 feel as good as new! They are still my favourite cans over models that are twice the price that I've tried.
Takes a little bit of fiddling to get them on, but they are well made and can take the 'abuse'.
Overall, very happy.

Absolutely like original earpads on my Sony MDR-7506!
Original earpads on my MDR-7506 headphones worn out. It lefts small pieces of material on my ears, head and neck. Awful!
I decided to change it and bought new earpads in Chinese online store for $3. I chose this store because they give me free shipping and low price. As result I had waited it for two month and I expected that it will be really good. But it was terrible, low quality and had unsuitable size.
If you buy cheaply, you pay dearly!
I was forced to throw it out.
I bought two items in thomann and it's ideal! It has right size, high qualitative material like original earpads. It doesn't influence on sound's quality.
I recommend it for everyone!

It comes in a small box and in a small plastic bag.
Order 2x pieces to have a pair, if you want to replace the pads of your very used headphones.

Sony quality, enough said
Not much to render opinion on here, is an ear pad replacement for the absolute classic, standard studio headphones for decades.
Mine were destroyed after 15 years of heavy use, so I replaced them with a these fresh pair, and good as new in seconds.
Cons? Pricey as hell as is the case with anything Sony.

Expensive, cheap materials, cheap packaging
Headline says it all. The quality of the cushion cover material is very low, it will probably peel off in a year (max) - I am going to test the Beyerdynamic EDT 250 V as someone else recommended. The packaging looked worse than many knockoffs from China - a plasttic bag "sealed" with a staple, in a plain cardboard box. And for a single piece, absurdly expensive.

Don't bother... there are better, cheaper, alternatives.
The Beyerdynamic EDT 250 V are much a much better choice.
These earpads have a faux-leather urethane covering which peels off in short order.
