Great Curtain
This curtain will not soundproof an area but it will do a good job dampening the sound. I find it takes the initial 'whack' out of a drum kit and also helps kill reflections in a room. I plan on buying another one of these for my home studio to box off the corner I record drums in. These are perfect for creating a vocal booth or contain noise that would be let out by doors/windows etc. I'f you found yourself looking at it then buy it.

Wow! That's the word that comes to mind
I found these curtains by chance while looking at acoustic treatment for my home studio. Needed sonething to cover my window and at the same time didn't want to board it up - have a great view from my studio. These curtains are a god send - real acoustic treatment in a curtain. The fabric does what it's supose to do, id muffles the sound a bit, for arround 10 db if the sorce is 3m away. It is of good quality but for some reason the one I got has a very strong sent to it.
I'll probably take it to the dry cleaners and try to get the smell out but I am not shure what will that do to the fabric.

helped alot
i have a whole wall made out of windows in my studio, and these curtains really helped me with the acoustics of the room. they do the job

Verbessert den Raumklang spürbar
Diese Vorhänge waren das erste, was wir im neuen Raum aufgehängt haben und sie haben den Raumklang sofort positiv und hörbar beeinflusst. Kosten ein ganzes Stück mehr, sind aber definitiv ihr Geld wert.

Good for dampening
I bought this to reduce reverberation in a room approximately 4x4 m in size , to go over a glazed surface . The material is satisfactory in regards to the sound dampening , but look elsewhere if you're looking to also soundproof (e.g. sounds coming from outside the window) but this was ok for me as I was aware. The fabric is relatively heavy but doesn't appear too refined , rims don't have stitching along them. It produced quite a strong plastic-y smell in the room for the first month or so. Overall it worked well to reduce reverb without having to work out other solutions, only a curtain rail needed.

Do the job
Just never rub it with water (I did no try any other cleaning product) or it will permanently change the aspect of it.

Good Acoustics - Bad Smell
The product seems fine to the look and touch. However, after unpacking the curtain, I was greeted with an unpleasant stench that filled the whole room. It took several bottles of linen-spray and hours of airing to get rid of the smell.
