TAD 12AX7A-C/ECC83 Premium Select

Used them in V2 of my Randall as suggested, and it worked pretty well. It didn't change the overall sound that much compared to the stock Electro-Harmonix, but it gave it a bit more warmth.

Would definitely recommend it !

Bought this tube for my taga tha500 hybrid heaphone tube amp. Definetly miles ahead of the stock 12ax7 chinese tube that came with it. But it is not intended for hifi use, it is meant for guitar amps and that is where it shines. On headphone or speaker tube amp, it gives kind of a overdrive sound to verything once you pass certain volume level. Still good, but not optimal for hifi.

This tube replaced a beaten up Electro Harmonix 12AX7 in the Phase Inverter position of an Epiphone Blues Custom.

I needed a durable tube to be able to withstand the high voltage of the PI and so far it does fine. I only have it for about 2 weeks so I will edit my review in the future.

It is also important to mention that Thomann delivered it to me securely, carefully packaged and it traveled a bit, so dont be afraid the transportation if you want to buy your tubes online

I replaced all my 12ax7 tubes from my marshall TSL 601 with these TAD ECC83 tubes the only thing I really notice in the tone is that they made it slightly warmer which gave the marshall a much nicer clean tone for blues music which I love so a big plus one for me

(but don't worry the treble is at 12 o clock so plenty of room to make it a bit more brighter for you country players).

The build quality seems to be good and no sign of failure after 25 hours of playing so all is well very happy with the product i recommend trying them out

I like this tube. I got this for a Marshall AVT50X because I wanted to change the sound a little. Now the amp it's quieter and has more gain. Definitely more clarity in sound, more balls and more mids.

Sounds great and I've got a few of these in my ENGL invader. Seems my V1 slot died on me last night though, after a few months of use.

It sounds clear and nice, but when pushed in overdrive abit edgy. I've had enough of them in different amps and all of them were quiet and had no issues at all. Excellent choice as phase inverter and also at second and third stage, depending on your amp.

Good tubes with a nice warm tone at a reasonable price. Put these into my Marshall dsl40c and the difference between these and the stock tubes are remarkable. The clarity of notes has definitely improved with the addition of these tubes.

I retubed an Orange Or15 head with TADs.I put the RT001 in the phase inverter position.No problem what so ever.Putting TAD tubes in my amp made the amp better overall IMHO.Less noise,more definition,more tightness,more punch.I don't hear any cons.The amp had JJ's before the TADs.

Quality made tube used for most Marshalls. This tubes can last for years...
