I Love this !
After 22 years I finally replaced my original Tama rock star DX pedal by this Iron Cobra 600 !
Delighted. Solid, cleverly made, I believe and I am confident that I will have another 20 years of solid and confident drumming. Tama rocks and it's a very reliable brand.
it's all in the engineering and the details. The spring release is very clever, the clamp too... the beater with the face that can be switched between felt and nylon, different attack, different mood. I didn't try the power glide as the default position suited me but I'm sure it's another winner. Well done Tama. I know why I love this brand. I recommend this pedal 200% go for it !

Excellent product
This purchase was made to replace a 45 year old pedal that has given wonderful service but had just worn out.
However, I now realise how far pedals have progressed since then and this product is far better. It may not have loads of adjustments but I don't need any more than this one has. It is simple, smooth and perfectly balanced, who needs anything more than that. As usual Thomann has priced it very reasonably and the service was perfect as always.

Solid and comfortable
I found this pedal very solid and the plate is big enough for playing single pedal techniques comfortably.
Of course you will have to set the pedal settings to your own personal taste but the pedal allows a wide range of customization in relation to tension, etc so it's just a matter of time to find the right setting for you.
So far this is the best pedal I tried in this price range.

Great pedal
I'm not an experienced drummer. I started learning to play the drums six months ago. My teacher advised me to use a pedal that is not too cheap and of a well-known brand. I just bought the same pedal that my teacher uses. And it turned out to be the right decision! I liked the quality of all the details of the pedal and its good price. I easily adjusted the pedal to my preferences. Now I use it every day and I want such a high-quality thing to serve me for a long time. By itself, this pedal will not improve your skill, but it will become a loyal assistant and will not let you down. I recommend everyone to try out this Tama 600 pedal!

Incredibly made
Just by the feel of it, you can tell it's made with quality in mind.
It has a fair amount of weight, but its balanced well. The feeling under your foot is extremely pleasing and simple to play, the dual actin system is pretty cool.
Absolutely would recommend.

Very good value for money
i bought this pedal as a replacement for my old yamaha one that broke and I am very happy with it.
The box it arrived in was well packaged so there was no chance of any breakages occurring during transit.
It is very comfortable to play. The chain mechanism and the spring is very fluid and feels satisfying to play.
Adjustments can be made very easily - the spring can be tightened or loosened via a small screw underneath the spring. The height of the beater can be adjusted very easily with a drum key simply by turning a lug.
Overall 5* rating is deserved, I highly recommend this product.

Goood!
Very good feeling on the footboard, very solid and stable overall and at the same time very responsive pedal with fine tuning regulation. The beater sounds too much punchy/dry for me compared to classic MAPEX square beater yet very powerful!! I'd definitely recommend this pedal for all purpose drumming.

What a difference!
Having recently joined my first band and started rehearsing I found I wasn't able to play the kick drum as well as I wanted to. The solution was to buy a new pedal - the Tama Iron Cobra has improved my playing and confidence immensely.

Rock solid, fits every bass drum I've tried it on.
Tremendously engineered solid bass pedal. Fits all the drums I've tried it on (which includes several electronic pads). Far more adjustable than I'll ever use.
The only con I've found is that as the attaching mechanism is metal, it can scar bass drums if you over-tighten.
