Modulation without loss of tone
This pedal has a warmth and impressive ability to modulate the signal without losing the guitar tone. It is is very different from the MXR Flanger & Chorus pedals - these seemed designed for slightly different purposes.
The stereo output, which can be fed into a TC MIMIC widens the output, creating studio level effects straight from your guitar pedals.
Truly impressive.

Exactly what I needed
I replaced another very good chorus/flanger pedal with this one, but it has been my fixation since I owned the original decades ago and I think it was stolen from me cos I was told it was broken beyond repair (but I don't believe it was). This is perfect. beautiful tone in all the possible settings of chorus, flanger and pitch. Careful with the input gain: it might affect the general volume if not set correctly (especially if you use it through the FX loop).

Magical Mystery Pedal
This thing is a winner!!!
It gets you wide open sound,
never muddy,
and even when maxed, the sound is useful!!!
It can even be discreet but once turned off,you missed it!!
Great chorus
Great vibrato (untill 3/4 intensity)
Very discreet flanger,so i liked it very much.
Input gain is a very useful feature.
The footswitch is kinda weird...it works when releasing, and there's no "click".
Last but not least....the stereo mode.......pure magic (at least with two amps).
This pedal is the guitar players chorus/vibrato (with a little chorus)/flanger.
Sounds charming through and through,
BUT there are no extreme settings,
so the space sounds are not it's thing...
Somehow they made it,in a way that whatever you do,you can't go wrong (except for the p.m. if you max out everything it gets slightly muddy on neck pickups...),and everything is very musical.
Unbelivable!!!
Highly recommended for guitar players!!!

It sounds like the 80's!
It really sounds like the 80's!
instantly recognizable sound that you heard in hundreds of albums from the 80's.
Not a dark sounding pedal. I'd say the sound is a bit sharp. I already have a bunch of warm/dark sounding pedals so I'll keep this for another flavour in the studio. I can imagine it being useful at some point for some side panned guitar line that needs a little sharpness and movement.

70's Style Chorus.
I bought this unit really just for the Chorus and l was looking for that 70's big open chorus. This has it and it is not complicated to use straight forward with just the odd rotation of a knob. Would recommend it for this purpose with the added bonus of a great flanger and modulation.

An excellent upgrade to Gold
Compared stereo chorus of the black SCF and purple label SCF series (both 220v) with stereo chorus of the SCF Gold series (9v DC). A surprising difference in sound character and dynamics when tested with bass. The intensity control of the SCF Gold stereo chorus can be turned a fraction lower compared with the stereo chorus of the vintage black SCF and purple label SCF series.

The Classic One
The SCF is the classic modulation pedal. I have some other chorus pedal as The ce-2w , boss super chorus ,Walrus Julia and a few other. This is unique . My favorite now
