tsa 2200 the good, the bad, and the ugly
i bought this amp originally to power a bass guitar rig (with bbe bmax preamp), for this purpose with the cabs that i built myself it was brilliant, lightweight, powerful and simple to use, but when i selected this set up i also had in mind that it would also be good for PA duty.
the power ratings for this amp are a little unclear in the description as it doesnt state the RMS power rating, however, it is a powerful amp, works very well with 4 ohm loads on each channel, the specs say it will go to 2 ohms a side, i have not tested this tho.
i think the ratings in the description are peak values, and in my opinion (purely a guess) from using PA amps over the years i would rate the power output around 450-500 @ 8 ohms, and 700-800 @ 4 ohms, still very respectable power/cost ratio, then factor in the weight, i am happy with this amp overall.
i have experienced 1 fault occur with this amp, this happened recently whilst still within its 3 year guarantee, THOMANNS fixed it with exceptional speed. Awesome customer service!

Great value for money
The t amp TSA 2200 is great value for money.It is very simple and easy to use and stands up to power amps that cost twice the price.Its a great set up for a budget PA system that can handle a full band of drums,guitars,vocals,keys etc.Save some cash on this and spend the rest on quality speakers.

Good product for a good price.
I run a 2k HK Audio rig from this amp. This is the second of these i have bought. The amp is perfect for this. I have used it on many DJ, Band and conference gigs and has handled all very well. The large meter on the front is helpful instead of relying on 2 LED's like most amps. Have never had an issues with this amp. It is reliable and idea for my needs.

Used for the mid-highs on my rig. Performed fine and sounded quite good. very good value for the money.

Way better than expected
Looks a little like old LAB amps, build quality is great!
Fans: Can't hear them
SNR: I have EAW horns with 113dB sensitivity and i was worried about noise. It's there but not to the level where it's annoying. and that's really really good! Only slightly more than my DSA8805 wich is 16 times as expensive, that's impressive!
I'm buing more of these!

Not expensive power amplifier.
Does not correspond to the declared capacity. The sound is good with an Alesis mixing console, but with Soundcraft EFX 8 it sounds awful.

Good amp for budget systems
Bought this amp to power 2 ev elx 112 speakers, works perfectly and handles audio well. A GREAT BUDGET CHOICE!
