The best strings from Thomastik, period.
The Rondo set avoids the texture and longevity issues presented by most of the premium string sets on the market these days. The strings break in quickly, are incredibly stable in a wide range of environmental conditions, and have a clarity and quality of sound that highlights the core "voice" of one's violin. I've been playing on Rondo for several years now and recommend them most highly!
