I've been using other lubricants for my horn. This turned out to be the best one I've tried. I suggest keeping it in the fridge if unused. In high ambient temperature it might loose some of its lubricating efficiency

The best for me
Only a tiny amount of lube is required to have a fast slide. Spraying with water from a spray bottle containing a couple of drops of Hetman's Hydro-slide makes it even better.
If changing from certain other creams/oils make sure that your slide is super clean before 1st application as any residue may react with the Yamaha product

Better than the rest.
I would say that this product is the best out there for most trombone slides. Great action and lasts longer than any of the others. Most trombonists I know now use this over any other slide lubricants available.

Extremely good for an extra lube
The best lube ever doesn't exist, it pretty much depends on your slide and also 'taste'. That said, I discover this product recently and I believe it's the perfect solution for a 'quick fix' during a concert or when you don't have the time to use the 'trombotine' (or you are simply lazy)

Quick and Easy
This slide oil does exactly what it needs to quickly and efficiently, at a reasonable price. I prefer it to the multiple-bottle options available, and definitely beats any tube varieties.

Best lubricant!
Been on Yamaha slide lubricant for years now, honestly the best on the market. Gives a silky smooth slide with little fuss. Can't ask for anything better!

This is the best slide oil out there. It last for a really long time and makes the slide very ... slidy.

Excellent
Was recommended I try this by a friend and I'm glad I did! Best trombone slide oil I have used. I have used many others but this is easier to apply and performs better. Seems to last longer as well.

Used it for years on all my pro trombone slides-good product, only downside the nozzle design which I think has been sorted now
