Two units, same defect. Avoid this headphones.
Tata93 03.09.2026
I bought the TMA-2 Studio Wireless specifically for low-latency wireless guitar monitoring. In W+ Link mode there is obvious distortion in the high frequencies. Wired and Bluetooth playback are both perfectly clean, so the fault is isolated to the W+ Link signal path, i.e. the one feature this product is sold on.

I ruled out everything on my side: multiple sources (Neural DSP Nano Cortex, MacBook headphone out) at very low input levels, gain staging, flat EQ, re-pairing, and a firmware check. The S11 speaker units were already on the latest W+ Link firmware (1.0.8 / 4.0.4), and the X03 transmitter has no user-updatable firmware at all, so there is nothing more a customer can do.

I requested a replacement. The replacement unit had the exact same distortion. Two out of two is not bad luck, it's a design or QC problem. Frankly, it's hard to understand how a company can keep selling a product that visibly fails at the single thing it was built for. On top of that, the headphone amp is weak, so you have to drive the transmitter hot to get usable volume, which only makes things worse.

I've since returned the set for a refund.

Very good if you want to get rid of cables
darquill 20.02.2026
For daily practice use and work the dual radio/bluetooth connection is great. The radio latency is perfectly fine for practicing, playing over songs, etc. You don't actually hear it, for me it's more a feeling that there's something very slightly off, but you get used to it immediately. Getting rid of cables for me is worth a hundred times more than this really minuscule latency. And if you really need to get rid of this, you can always use the provided cable, which is on the short side (a plus for me).

Works perfectly with XVive A 58 Guitar Wireless System which I use, all connected to a HX Stomp for completely wire-free experience. The range is also pretty good as I can walk into another room and keep playing.

Build quality is great and it's cool that you can order replacement parts.

Excellent Latency Performance but Unbalanced Sound
ozanhat 06.01.2026
I purchased these headphones two weeks ago. In terms of latency they perform exactly as advertised. Playing a MIDI keyboard or recording vocals feels immediate and responsive which is a big advantage for production work.

Although I did not have high expectations regarding sound quality I still found it disappointing. I mainly use HD 600 headphones in my studio so I naturally compared the two. There is a noticeable boost in the 3–6 kHz range which adds clarity but becomes fatiguing even short sessions. In practice I often have to lower the click track level to stay comfortable. I also find the low end response somewhat lacking.

Overall the low latency performance is excellent but the sound tuning did not feel balanced enough for the price point. With a more neutral frequency response these headphones could be much more compelling.

Game changer in the studio
Classik 26.09.2025
I’ve been using these headphones for electronic music production over the last month and I’m very impressed!

I wasn't sure how wireless headphones would perform in a studio setting. Safe to say it’s exceeded my expectations. It’s completely freeing to not be connected to a cord and it brings a new dimension to my creative process. I can get up and move around the studio or switch between instruments without getting tangled and there’s nothing to get in the way of my hands.

While playing my synths I don’t notice any latency. The wireless connection is incredibly stable and I haven’t experienced any drop outs or interference. The whole experience of connecting the transmitter and being wireless is seamless. I do have to charge the headphones but for me it’s only been about once per week.

Comfort wise the headphones fit snuggly on my head and I’m able to wear them for hours without any problems. The headphones are also surprisingly light considering they contain batteries.

The sound quality is great overall. I can hear the finer details in my music and the sound is well balanced and clear. The ability to change the EQ and sound profile of the headphones is also very useful. Now I can choose a more lively EQ for jamming and a neutral EQ for mixing and adjustments.

One thing I noticed is that I have to switch to Bluetooth mode and connect to my phone to tweak the EQ settings. I can’t do this on the fly in the wireless+ mode while I’m listening. But this isn’t an issue as I’m usually only setting the EQ at the start of a session.

If you are looking for new studio headphones but are unsure about wireless, don’t be. These headphones live up to their claim!
