Allparts Semi-Hollow Wiring Kit

Not great, not bad.
After reading the other reviews I must add this:

- 2x Audio Taper + 2x Linear Taper pot. If you don't like how the pots behave, this is personal preference and you should have done your research before buying.
- There is a very noticable difference in turning resistance. The linear pots turn very "heavy", the audio pots turn very light. -> This feels weird.
- You need to buy correct braided wire seperately. The wire in the kit is not long enough and it's the wrong wire anyway, it's totally useless.
- There is no issue with the switch. The issue is with the nut. The switch has the wrong nut and this is not Thomann or Allparts fault. If you buy Switchcraft switch seperately it also has the wrong nut. They give you 1 flat nut, but you need a nut that goes "inside" the guitar. "Deep thread nut". -> Search for "Switchcraft SW-DKN-N".
- There is a paper with wiring schematic for a Les Paul guitar in the kit (not for ES335). Not a problem, there are very good schematics on internet anyway.

Conclusion:
1) The parts are good quality. But the set is incomplete: you need to purchase braided wire and the correct nut for the switch before you can use it!
2) The pots dont behave in the same way.
3) -> It's probably better to buy everything seperately, especially the pots.

Ich habe mir das Kit für einen ES-335-Nachbau von Ibanez besorgt, da alle Potis ausgetauscht werden mussten. Ich habe erst das zweite Mal die Elektronik einer Gitarre ausgetausch, bin also nicht so wirklich erfahren. Die Verkabelung der Gitarre war noch in Ordnung, sodass ich nur die Teile ausgetauscht habe. Die Gewinde der alten Potis waren leider etwas kleiner, sodass ich die Löcher aufbohren musste. Das Gewinde des Schalters war allerdings so kurz, dass ich den gar nicht einbauen konnte, zum Glück ist der alte Schalter noch ok.
Das war eine negative Sache. Die andere war der Schaltplan, der für mich nur schwer zu entziffern war. Es war nicht so richtig ersichtlich, welcher Poti wo eingebaut werden sollte. Mit dem Ausschlussprinzip ging es dann. Doof ist auch, dass die alten Poti-Knöpfe jetzt nicht mehr passen, sodass ich bald neue bestellen muss.
Was ich richtig schlecht finde, ist der Regelweg der Tone-Potis. Es gibt nur eine ganz kurze Strecke, auf der sich Klangveränderungen hörbar machen. Man könnte da schon fast von einem Schalter sprechen 😉
Die Haptik aller Potis ist auch nicht so doll, sie fühlen sich alle sehr unterschiedlich an, was die Leicht-/Schwergängigkeit angeht.
Nun aber genug genörgelt. Letztendlich tun die Teile das, was sie sollen (abgesehen von den Tone-Potis, s.o.) und klanglich ist es tatsächlich ein großer Schritt nach vorne. Das hätte ich echt nicht gedacht, dass sich da so viel tun würde.
Mit meinem jetzigen Wissen, würde ich das Kit nicht mehr kaufen, sondern vorher alles schön ausmessen und die Teile nach Rücksprache mit den Thomann-Technikern einzeln kaufen.

Quant à la qualité du fil conducteur : de la camelote Quant aux potos , idem : les potos tonalité sont trop courts (filet de fixation ) et un poto volume présentant un défaut (inutilisable ) Bref , cet article ne vaut rien J'ai dû racheter 3 potos et changer complètement de fil Belle perte de temps et d'argent Le shéma de montage oublie qu'il faut relier les potos volume et tonalité entre eux par la masse , sinon bruit de fond . CTS , OK All Parts , non , il ne m'en faut plus La fabrication d'une SG est prévue mais certainement pas avec la marque All Parts
