Excellent recreation
It's packed with a lot of high end features for the price point. A pretty faithful recreation of the original. Excellent build quality.
I have been playing with it for two weeks now and it's been a lot of fun: it's possible to go pretty deep with inspiring sound design sessions.

If you live at the coast you gotta have wave!
Perfect emulation which gives you from metallic to subtle sounds.

Great sounding, but not user friendly.
Looking great, feeling good, strong build quality and classic PPG wavetable sound, but really annoying user interface. I loved it from the looks to the sound, but every time i was trying to edit anything, from system parameters to sound, the digital menu is horrible. Behringer did a really great job in the design and construction of the hardware, but decided to make the user interface menu close to the original, and that was a mistake. This instrument needs a totally new UI menu system to start having fun with it.

The fun is back.
I've read oddly negative reviews on this that are baffling... I was on the waiting list for the Waldorf Wave 1 some 30+ years ago and still have it, and use it a bit, but this, albeit a remake sort-of, is just so much fun! I'm still on the floor out of the box, updated, and just enjoying a well-built synth. Build quality is great, keyboard is fine - it's a synth not a piano, and the later firmware made the aftertouch more nuanced. For the money it's incredible, and it sounds great, behaves as it should, and with time and intent there is a lot you can do with it. Don't listen to the nay-sayers. They are fools. Music should be fun, and this is providing it with a usably klunky interface that I've not had to read a manual for. Love it!
