BetterSax Classic Alto Review
This saxophone is a sidegrade from the YAS-280, but in a matter of some unheard upgrades.
First of all, the keys are much more tactile, precise. Literally zero play when wiggling it, the yamaha has shown a horrible amount of play in the rods too. From the assembly perspective, the whole instrument was given a good care for its playability. The left pinky finger table is so well made, no need to fight for it to actually press the keys like in the Yamaha...
The stock mouthpiece, eh maybe. Yamaha 6C sounds better for me.
I wear hearing aids, played alto for 7 years at least, this one is a upgrade from the 280!
Sound is more rounded, deeper which is so iconic.
The underslung octave mechanism is firee!
It's worth to buy on sales rather.
