Very modern sounding single coil
I opted to use this pickup in neck position with an Area 61 (m) the and Injector Bridge (b) but this combination failed for me. I was really disappointed and regretting the purchase. However re-installed in another strat project using Injector Bridge in the neck, this one in the middle and a Virtual Solo in the bridge position. Man, the guitar is now on a totally different level of sound! Punchy and full of energy even in lowered pickup height, agressive when closer to the strings. Now I use them lowered to have a full body and strong but still stratty sounding guitar and it really bites. Highly recommended!
