A greatroasted maple neck with plastic-like nut
It is a really great neck. I found the workmanship flawless, perfectly fit to a Strat body. The look is gorgeous: shiny, dark caramel headstock front and matte finish on the back. The rosewood fingerboard is also nicely made, no shart edges at the frets. I installed black Fender tuners and now the whole thing looks luxurious!
The only thing I found negative is the nut. As per the spec it is synthetic bone but feels closer to plastic. I will surely replace it with real bone (as I did on all other guitars, too).
Regardless the nut material I still recommend buying this neck.
