Envelopes and complex functions
The different coloured lights and CV assignment options take a bit of getting used to. But basically this can be either
1. just a simple and easy to use quad AD\AR Envelope and LFO or
2. an amazingly deep source of complex functions and modulation
If you only need #1 then its extremely playable but for #2 there are definitely non-intuitive button combinations and alternate modes to remember to get the full Quadrax value. That is the price of having all this in 14hp.

The Swiss Army Knife of Modulation
The Quadrax has quickly become one of my favorite modules. Four independent channels, envelopes, LFOs and the flexible CV routing lets me get surprisingly complex patches.
It's intuitive to use but rewards deeper exploration.
