Humbuckers are fine, I mean they are a bit active high (i.e., they still produce sound, a little hum, even when you are not playing. Solution is to turn the volume knob down.). But this is how Jackson is. Well, the most beautiful feature is the Floyd Rose Tremolo with double locking system plus die cast tuners. Tune it and it will rarely go out of tune even after savage use of the floating bridge. All in all, its a beautiful little monster.

I always wanted a Warrior and the looks, shape and ergonomics don't disappoint in the slightest. Playability is superb and the neck is thin and smooth. The stock pickups are surprisingly high output, I would even keep them if if the white accent didn't bother me (it does). Rest of the hardware is fine, although I'm replacing the stock tremolo with a Schaller.

However, there are multiple issues with the finish and craftsmanship
-Paint is rough with a couple visible defects
-Fret ends are slightly sharp
-Top of frets could use some more polish, bending strings feels a bit scratchy.
-Fretboard binding is pretty rough with some visible scuffs and bad sanding

While none of this is a deal breaker and worth returning the the guitar for, it leaves a bit of a sour taste considering I have even cheaper guitars with much better QC. Still, this is a great modding platform and all of the issues listed above are easy to fix by a pro
