Mono Cases Vertigo Electric Bass (Grey)

After 20 years of playing my Ibanez SR505 I decided that it needed a proper case instead of the old gig bag... The guitar player in our band has been using a Mono case for a long time and has been very much satisfied with it, so much so that he even once fell on it during some icy winter walk, and the instrument remained intact.

So I had to order one too, and I am not disappointed. High build quality, great practical design where you lower the bass into the case from above, very useful rubber base and a huge pocket which can house my SansAmp, its power supply, my cable, the strap and some 9V batteries. Nice comfy shoulder straps which can be interconnected at the chest, making for some real safe carrying.

Only gripe: The small handle on the back of the case, around the hight of the instrument neck joint, could have been sewn rather to the front. This is interesting when one lowers the case with one hand into a trunk - using the handle as is, the bass is face-down, whereas the other way around I could place it on its back, while using only one hand.

Anyway, this is such a minor thing, and otherwise the case is really nice, padded beautifully on the inside - just go for it, you will not regret the safety it gives as compared to gig bags. If you love your instrument, protect it with this, it deserves it!
