Great but one big flaw
With almost all the usable preset rhythms they use a crash sound (the same sound with every drum kit) on the one every two bars.
It’s SUPER annoying and obnoxious sounding, where it’s almost funny, but not very usable.

So prepare to make your own rhythms, but that’s not what I personally bought it for.
The rest is great though, so if you’re in it for making your own rhythms or you LOVE crash than you’ll love this thing.

Great little drum machine
This thing is really cool. The drum kit sound quality is not the best; some kits are more usable than others, at least for my use case. The pads are okay, but you really have to press quite hard to get a high volume.
Considering the price, size, and features, it’s nice and fun. I love that you can play it on the sofa using batteries and the built-in speakers.
I would love to be able to import my own samples, but considering the price, I won’t complain. I would even pay more for a “pro” version with sample import, similar to what Yamaha does with the FGDP-30 vs FGDP-50.
Recommended.

Good price and nice sounds
I also like the fact the pads sends midi, its awesome.
Sounds are very good,
One thing i with the pads woul feel more clicky, it feels like touch pads...
Overall best price value !

Basic But Brilliant!
Ignore the low review describing the limitations of the patterns being in 2 bars only. Absolute nonsense.
This may be a basic drum machine but it is so straightforward and flexible. It is easy to copy, amend, create new patterns to piece together fantastic songs.
But best of all, the range of kits and sounds is excellent. The built in speakers is a bonus and is excellent for programming without needing to be hooked up to a mixer/amp. etc.
Amazing price too.

Great little machine
Punchy speakers. The firmware needs an update. Could be great. There's a Medeli version with footswitch. Erm, I so wanted this little machine to fulfil its potential.
