It's convenient to have switches to toggle each socket being used or not, especially for gear that take power via USB but don't have an off/on switch themselves.
Great to have it powered from wall socket, so USB power consumption can be provided without draining the laptop/pc USB socket.

Nice & Reliable
Works nicely for several months so far with MacBook 16’ 2019. Plugged in to the max with no issues with power, performance or recognition with any of devices (audio interface, MIDI controller, mouse, pedals, keyboard and multiple external drives.

Great hub
It works very stable. I use it for controllers and hard drives. The on/off power switches are great live saviors. I was nicely surprised that my keyboard controller (which has a separate power supply) connected to the pc without the need to power on the bus.

I didn't put input's on all 7 of them, bc i didn't need them yet. But so far i've got 1 harddrive in it, a mouse, and 3-4 midicontrollers and I didn't find a single bugg within.
The on and off buttons are also a big plus, as well as the leds that indicate the active state of your port.
I'd recommend it for sure.

Amazing usb hub
It does what is supposed to do and gives you the flexibility to activate or deactivate your connected devices. It works flawlessly with different synths, midi controllers and even external disk drives all connected at the same time. Highly recommended!

Excellent
Lot of power. Also switch for every port is very useful. I use it for Traktor F1, NI kontrol A25, and other equipment without own power switch.
