I was a bit skeptical about the hype first, but at the end ordered one to give it a try.
This pedal simply does magic with my single coils. All the videos and tests speak wonders about the EP Booster, and having it only for a few days now, I totally get why most of the guitar players consider this "the always on" pedal.
Even though mostly mentioned for it's warm, slightly compressed tone, I'd add that it also provides a bit more customizability with the internal DIP switches to either add (1) Unity gain for a bit more bite and a (2) Bright switch to restore a flat EQ. Moreover, the unit can be driven with 18V as well to get more headroom.
The only slight inconvenience is the truly internal switches, one has to deal with 4 screws to set it differently. Not a big though, will be a set and forget thing for most of us.
