Erős kivitel, egyedül a súly hosszútávon nehéz a fejnek

Terrible design makes for easy wear & tear, deterioration
HCLL 12.02.2019
This has to be the worst cable I've ever worked with.

The end that goes into the headphones has a very small cable with an incredibly heavy middle section due to wrapped up together cable.

If you were to use this on a table setup, the cable gets dragged down a lot due to the unnecessary weight of the middle part, meaning it's going to scrape against your table until the cable is completely worn out, exposed and destroyed.

This is the second time I'm having problems with this cable, the first one was the headphone not picking up a signal at one end, and on this one the cable itself is breaking in two parts. Keep in mind I'm not twisting it weirdly, it's at a very reasonable position. Other headset cables from other names don't have any problems, it's just this one due to it's bulky impractical design.

Cable constantly gets damaged
BearOnGuitar 03.11.2026
I love the AKG HSC271 headset, it is perfect in each aspect except from one. The cable, which is constantly breaking to the point of getting entirely damaged. I use my headset on a stationary setup on my desk, I plug in my cable just once into my audio interface and it stays this way permanently until it is time to change out the cable again. Unfortunately after several months the new cable then starts developing a bad contact, and the only way to resolve this issue temporarily is to twist the cable until the sounds gets restored, then fixing it into place with some cable ties. At this point the cable will only last a few more months before it will completely give up. I use up about one cable each year with daily normal use sitting at my desk. It's an incredibly bad design for a very high cost, which needs to be factored in as a regular cost for keeping this headset in working condition.
