One of my favorite EQD reverbs was the Transmisser which included the resonant filter together with a large ambient cathedral style reverb. But it was missing trails and stereo funcionality. With the Astral Destiny and the Afterneath V3 we already got the trails but still missing the stereo option. But when I had a discussion with Jaime in March 2025 on a guitar summit event and he mentioned that he's planning to go down the rabbit hole for a stereo ambient reverb, I knew that this pedal will be a mainstay in my rig.
The pedal arrived and it is a work of art from the outside which is a bare minimum for all the EQD stuff. When I plugged it in, I instantely fell in love the sound and realised that I've been playing for myself for more than 2 hours. The controls are simple and intuitive. Without adding the filter side, the reverb itself sounds also beautiful, adding the filter it is ambient heaven without adding too sizzle and noise. I tried also OBNE's ambient reverb pedals but none of them could convince me with their sound quality.
Some technical stuff which is also very important for a pedal in this price range. No click or any clocknoise when you turn on the pedal. It can be very disturbing when you're playing clean.
It takes also dirt pedals including fuzzes very well. No artifacts in the sound, simply perfect.
For some players it can be a con that it it doesn't contain MIDI funcionality, but still you can save presets, so for me it is the perfect amibent stereo reverb together with the Strymon Cloudburst.
